The role

As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be joining an established team responsible for delivering applications to meet customer requirements and departmental standards. C# experience is essential for the position.

Day to day, you’ll be accountable for developing and supporting applications within our portfolio.

• Follow processes and best practice to ensure configuration and development of solutions are testable and traceable.
• Identify new ways to exploit functionality in applications in accordance with the application roadmap
• Ensure any changes are agreed with the stakeholder community and align with the IT strategy
• Provide consistent application and systems documentation through all the application lifecycle

Essential experience of the Senior Software Developer:

• Strong experience of .Net, C#, VB.net, .Net Core
• Experience of ASP.NET Web Forms
• Experience of MVC / Web Application Development - desirable
• Experience with writing Windows Services - desirable
• HTML, JavaScript, jQuery - desirable

The Senior Software Developer role is fully remote.

The successful candidate for the Senior Software Developer role must be able to achieve BPSS/SC security clearance.
